If you're running Mac OS 10.8, click here to download and install the HP Software.Therefore, the software and drivers are not available. If you're running Mac OS X 10.6, it is not compatible.Eventually, you will run into these type of limitations when trying to use new technology with an older operating system. The earliest software and driver released for this printer is for Mac OS X 10.8. I understand the frustration that you're experiencing.
